Most shower curb issues come down to water damage. Many curbs are built with sheetrock or other water-absorbing materials, eventually rot, weaken, and cause tiles to loosen or crack.
I solve this problem by removing the damaged materials, sealing any pan holes, and floating the curb in solid concrete—a time-tested, waterproof solution that won’t fail over time.
If the tile is salvageable, I clean and reset it for a seamless repair. If not, matching the tile is possible. Either way, a durable, long-lasting curb won’t break down from water exposure.
